Entrepreneur, inventor and medical device industry executive for past 20 years, having in-depth experience in managing and creating value for medical device companies.  Specialized in developing and introducing a wide range of medical technologies to market, strategic planning, strategic collaborating and M&A’s.

In 2009 David established Stimatix GI and serves as its CEO.  In 2014, Stimatix assets were acquired by B.Braun.  Prior to Stimatix David served as V.P. of R&D Vision Sciences Inc., a N.Y.-based medical device company specializing in flexible endoscopy.  Prior to Vision Sciences Inc. he served as COO and R&D leader at CByond (Olympus-Gyrus-ACMI subsidiary) specializing in minimal invasive surgery.

To date, David published 23 patents applications of which 18 been granted.

David holds an MBA from Haifa University and a B.Sc. electrical engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (honors).

Chief Business & Technology Officer of NGT3 VC

Ms. Ben-Zur brings over 20 years of experience in the medical device and healthcare industries, holding executive positions in management, business and marketing, and fundraising in the United States and in Israel.

Prior to joining NGT, Livnat was the CEO of Corolabs, a deep-lung inhaled therapies, and prior to that the General Manager of Regentis Biomaterials, a tissue regeneration company.

Livnat served as VP Business Development & Director of Women’s Health Program at Galil Medical, where she spearheaded product development processes related to the breast and gynecology applications, as well as managed the clinical program of these applications. Before that Ms. Ben-Zur served as a Director of Marketing of Medinol Ltd, and as Business director of Medical Technology group of Datamonitor Inc.

She holds MBA in marketing and International Business from Tel Aviv University and Bachelor of Sciences, in Biology from Tel Aviv University.

OTTek Scientific Advisory Board Head of Gastroenterology and Liver Disease Institute at Shamir M.C Israel

Prof. Haim Shirin is a graduate "cum laude" of the Medicine Faculty at the Israel Institute of Technology and qualified in 1986. After his gastroenterology residency he did a post-doc fellowship at the Columbia University in New-York. Since 2011 he is the Head of Gastroenterology and Liver Disease Institute at Shamir M.C., in Israel. Prof. Shirin is an associated professor in Tel-Aviv University and published 94 original papers in peer review journals, many of them in high quality and high IF journals, and presented his studies in national and international meetings. Recently, he has been elected as the President of the Israeli Gastroenterology Association.

Holds a B.S. degree from Syracuse University, with an emphasis in Marketing and Telecommunications Management, and an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, with an emphasis in Marketing, Healthcare, Organizational Behavior, and Economics.

OTTek Scientific Advisory Board Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill-Cornell Medical College

Arthur Asher Kornbluth, MD, is Clinical Professor of Medicine at  the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. He has been a practicing clinical gastroenterologist for over 30 years with a focus on inflammatory bowel diseases and techniques for early detection of colon cancer. He has lectured extensively nationally and internationally and has published over 100 articles, abstracts, book chapters and invited editorials. He has served on scientific advisory boards for over 30 clinical trials of drugs and medical devices and had been engaged in study design, data analysis, publication and post approval marketing strategies. He consults regularly for investment firms, financial advisory groups and venture capital funds regarding new drug therapy and medical devices.

Dr. Moshe Rubin is currently an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill-Cornell Medical College and Senior Physician and Faculty member at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem and Assuta Medical Center.
He is Physician Leader with extensive administrative and medical device industry experience. He served as President of the Society of Practitioners of Columbia University, Chief of Gastroenterology at New York Presbyterian Queens and Chief of Gastroenterology at SBH Health System in New York City.
Dr. Moshe Rubin received his Medical Degree at Yale University and completed his postgraduate training at Weill Cornell and Columbia University.
Dr. Rubin worked with senior leadership and product development teams at various medical device companies where he tested new medical devices, advised on product development, market strategy and innovative applications for new and existing productts for Given Imaging, Boston Scientific, FujiFilm, Conmed, Avantis Medical, Interscope, Inc., Fize Medical and Hagartech. Dr. Rubin serves as a member of the Board of Advisors of Fize Medical and Hagartech in Israel.

Mr. Rabinovitz has 30+ years of experience working with medical devices, focusing on assessments of innovative opportunities and developments of breakthrough products and worldwide markets in leading global companies.
Mr. Rabinovitz has a Ph.D. in Mechanical & Medical Engineering  from the University of Houston, US, an M.Sc. in Mechanical & Medical Engineering from the Technion in Israel and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering  from the Technion in Israel.
